Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho lost his rag and stormed out of last
night's media conference over questions about Frank Lampard's
form.
Mourinho axed Lampard as his penalty taker for last night's 2-0 win
over Werder Bremen and then blamed the media for affecting the
midfielder's confidence.
He said: "It seems Frank is guilty, because you've never had a
player like him in the next 10 years.
"He's guilty because he has scored so many goals, guilty because he
has played so many matches, guilty because he gives 100 per cent of
his effort for Chelsea and England in every game, guilty because he
broke an unbelievable record for playing in so many consecutive
matches, guilty because he's such a good player.
"You should treat him with more respect."
