Khalid Boulahrouz can't believe the hate levelled at Chelsea.
But he promised the Blues will take it all in their stride as they
embark on another Champions League campaign against Werder Bremen
tonight.
Boulahrouz said: "It's unbelievable how much venom surfaces when
Chelsea are the opponents.
"Against Blackburn, not only were we kept
up all night by hoax wake-up calls at the hotel, but on the pitch
they used every means possible.
"The next game against Middlesbrough, they went at it intensively
for 90 minutes and beat us.
"Then a week later at home against Portsmouth they lose 4-0.
"But the Chelsea players aren't affected. We bond even more and
become an even closer knitted unit."
