That means you also agree that Beck never dive right... ok good.

I watched it again last night and he went down very easily for a strong and tough guy... I also felt that the fouled that lead to the free-kick shouldn't have been given too.

Anyway, over at the other end, I saw Carvalho was pulling and grabbing the blackburn striker's shirt in the area but the honest guy just stayed on his feet. That's how Captain Diver should have behave... But i guess if you are desperate enough, you will do anything to get a penalty.

Too bad, there goes a good reputation. Wink

we agree to disagree lah...
argue like this also no point...
impt thing is man utd not 5 points clear of chelski...
wasted man... i tot blackburn can hold them to draw at least...

nvm bias fans are like that lazy to argue anyway the general fans here agreed that it was a clear-cut foul and steven gerrard did dive for penalty b4 last season i saw it myself during the match but not posting to make a issue out of it since the peantly is not given.........

BillyBong SG

It doesn't matter to me whether he dived of not. The issue is inconsequential.

What matters is that such a meaningless thread was bound to incite flames among the forumers, and for what?

The deed is already done. The penalty awarded. The game lost.

What does it matter what people say? 99% of managers on the losing end will always deem penalty decisions went against them, the referee was biased, the opposing players playacted etc etc.

Plenty of players like Thierry Henry, Robert Pires, Christiano Ronaldo and so on have done the 'superman stunt' but John Terry seems to have been given an obscene amount of coverage.

Perhaps the papers are trying to influence the referee's decision into recinding the penalty? Either way, this is just another non-discussion topic bound to lead to nowhere.

Yeah lah thats what I have been telling you all along. You are entitle to your opinion and I respect it but I am entitle to mine too right? The important thing is not Chelsea 5 points behind or in front, thats irrelevant. The important thing is the New England Captain had to stood so low as to Dived to win a penalty to save the match! Sigh

zocoss SG

If its inconsequent to you then why you bother to add your opinion in our discussion? Since this is a forum for sport discussion, we are only here to share our views and opinions of what happened recently and I guess in a few days we will all probably forget what was discuss here also Anyway, what may seem inconsequential to you may be of interest to others. No one is here to incite flame as you seem to suggest.

Your second paragraph onwards I will just take it as your opinion and accept it alright as you are entitle to your views too.

Btw, If you have come across or have seen my earlier posts, you will know that I said more than this regarding Man us Ronaldo its just that not many answered so I didnt need to reply.

And to your third paragraph, its very obvious isnt it Hello his is Englands New Captain so naturally the spotlight on him will definitely be more from now on right? Have you forgotten how much Beck had to put up? Compare to this its child's play. It comes with the job, its part and parcel. You just have to accept it.

there's no need to get worked up fellas, zocoss is the resident anti-chelsea manu 'geylang worker'. every deed by chelsea is evil while every crime by manu is divine...

it'll be interesting to see where villa is heading with new money, seems continental europe has plenty of unsettled good players....

zocoss SG

Laughing countdracula... why you "bottled-it" up for so long after our last exchange is it? This place is just for a discussion... like i told you the last time, tho i don't remember what was it about also...

Whatever lah... i only mentioned Terry and not Chelsea... Do read back. Anyway, nice to see you back here again. Razz

countdracula SG

i never bottle up lar, i'm busy with the real world.....just admit you are very much anti-chelsea...frankly, i couldn't care less if chelsea rot in the lower regions. they've got enough insanity to bug me too, but i despised the 'righteous' who cannot see the faults in the team he pursues....

the difference between you and i is that i do not get myself irrationaly attached to anything.....that said, i wish all well and best wishes...do not blindly idolise the millionaire footies who can't give a damn...make your own millions and spread it around to those in need....

zocoss SG

Never meh then why you even bother I wonder I am not an anti-chelsea, do take a little time to read my pervious post if you care before you make a sweeping statement. I have posted unflattering remakes on Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea & Man u as well but obviously not as much. Embarassed

Anyway, I am a Man utd supporter and am not a shame to say so too. That does not mean I have not been critical of them I have said unpleasant things about Man u players too, I was also one of them that thought Sir Alex should go last year and hope he had gone.

Anyway, If you care to read the title carefully and my post through this whole thread (if you bother) Laughing , you will realized I am criticizing Terry, the England Captain and not Terry, the Chelsea player.

Lastly, the difference between you and me Well, I think you are just not passionate thats all in whatever you do but I can respect that, nothing irrationally. Razz cheers buddy.

ghimpheng SG

you sure know how to contradict yourself

zocoss SG

I thought we have moved on and this thread was gone and over with but since you brought it back

I dont quite understand why you highlighted the 5 words for actually. Please read the whole paragraph as one and dont do like what those sinister reporters does by leaving quotes for misrepresentation. Maybe you can understand better what I meant. And, I didnt contradict myself. Razz
