You cant separate people from the business. It makes no sense.

If generally going into the MLM business have mould a significant number of people into such and such behaviours, its quite accurate to say such industry would churn out such people.

MLM will show you how the capitalist mentality will eventually cause many stages of greed , regret , enlightenment and stamina if you persevere to observe the learning stages of coming out from the "WORKER" mentality to an independant until you reach the inter-dependant stages of a higher class "WORKER".

This is the real politics of the world , you have to prove yourself to be useful or your product/service is useful to be profiting from anything.

Never view laws and policies as moral and good just because they have been approved by the government.

Some are necessary evil, just like casinos, despite protests from religious groups and other social activists.

Lau you have you points, but MLM also turn people to good.

Not everyone turn bad. eg. some people learn time management, leadership, coaching and even public speaking in MLM.

Thats why i say its not the industry fault, its the people who did it. If the industry is at fault, then why some is good and some is bad ?

But since you put the humanistic aspect into MLM system, as in its holistic system, there is no longer any separation from industry from the people doing it. It would again, doesnt make sense to separate industry from people, into wishy washy concepts like good and bad.

I believe its the way MLM system is designed, again, by human hands, that mould people into such behaviours.

Hmm there is quite a few cases on Insurance Agent cheating their clients money and also property agents working unethical when closing deals.

But of course i agree that MLM has alot of cases too, anyway one of the reason might be because of young member, and the company never did enough to educate them.

Whatever the reason, if a industry can last for so many years, it must have its values. Don't you agree ?

Systemic issues too

Insurance scams was rampant till the industry become more oligopolistic and regulations tightened around these companies, but recently worsen due to lack of regulations over financial linked products, gee, to be a 'financial counsellor', all you need is three months crash course....

Same for property agents, even worse when there are so many of them fighting for that same piece of pie

Values in what? Until regulations tightened and the MLM model evolves to a better one, values to distributors have not been very significant, no matter how many years it has been there. There are simply too few successful and strong uplines compared to masses of distributors who joined in

I realised that there is so many -ve points on mlm...

Y is that?

If it's that bad, the govt. would definitely band it right?

Like the casino thing, govt. do gain the profits when people lose their $$$... But in mlm, the govt. dun earn anything, plus, if people really bieing cheated by mlm, won't the police have the rights to arrest us... Somemore, people will be poorer, govt. at lost also right?

So, if it's that bad, the govt. would ban it right?

I need more explaination

I heard that S'pore allowed mlm only in the past 5 years... Before that, it was banned...

But I heard that in the states, it's been there for 50 years already...

And from what I have researched upon, most millionaires in states are because they are in mlm that makes them rich...

Even billionaire Donald Trump quoted that if he could start everything all over again, he would have done network marketing...
