MLM_Victim fits the persona of his name. Angry with the world,
but more so for his own "foolishness" for allowing himself to think
MLM is something like a person who has caused him to be the
"failure" that he is today... and will go on putting the blame on
MLM for his sorrow state now and in future. Another fitting nick
would be Kopitiam_Uncle. If the internet is not available for me
for my quick fix of entertainment, i would pay 70 cents and sit
briefly at kopitiams (usually frequented by middle-aged uncles) and
listen to them rant about the government, the rising fuel prices
& compare how much Progress money they got. Except that they
are talking among themselves and not airing their foolishness in
public i.e. internet.
MLM_Victim was a "victim" a year ago, is a "victim" today, and will
continue to be be a "victim" in the years to come. Perhaps, if he
garners enough support from fellow "victims", he can champion a
non-profit support group for other "MLM_Victims" and rally the
government to ban all MLM companies and on the way, might as well
just start banning every other business, trades, that do not serve
his/their cause. Hey, we should just go back to the kampong era
where everyone can just barter trade and rear pheasants & plant
coconuts. No money, no greed, no MLM, no "victims".
But i'm sure MLM_Victim means no harm, just as much as he doesn't
realise the embarrassment he's caused to himself by posting
intellectually-challenged questions. Readers can see right through
that he's just clouded by a over-cooked grief he experienced years
ago. Bad experiences are quite traumatic, i tell you. Just ask
Michael Jackson.
A quick reply to the questions posted:
PDMYB is a product that last time NOP was selling, and now
Watson is selling.
If really can sell like hot cakes, why they need you?
Because they are adopting the MLM approach, which requires
people, word-of-mouth to move its products. Duh.....
If really can sell like hot cakes, why NOP fail to do so?
Because NOP was more interested in selling columbarium &
Indonesian Club Membership, which eventually wound up the company
due to financial issues.
Back to MLM basics, personal care products & home/family care
products make up more than 60% of direct sales companies' sales.
(source: http://www.dsa.org/pubs/numbers/#PRODUCT) Notice
that it doesn't mention anything about columbarium or club
memberships? Trying to reinvent the wheel (unsuccessfully) caused
NOP's demise, not PDMYB.
If really can sell like hot cakes, why Watson fail to do so?
Watson's carries more than a thousand products. Does that mean
that every single product it carries is a hotcake? Watson's is only
a retail organization responsible only for putting up products on
its shelves. Marketing campaigns, promotions, are entirely up to
the suppliers. If the suppliers do not deem allocating a high
marketing budget to boost the awareness of a certain product, then
that's their business. It doesn't fly off the shelves? It's
certainly not because it's no good.
Again, another shallow insight, revealing a lack of understanding
of how the retail market operates.
Please dont tell me that NOP cannot make it, cos if you tell me
that, that's mean Steve Chew, Eddie Tang and the gang SUX, cos they
were those people who were selling PDMYB at that time.
Firstly, there's no logic in this statement. Whether a company
can make it or not is not dependent on whether its agents "SUX" or
not. Like how my damaged motorola does not mean motorola or Singtel
should be investigated by the FBI for fraudulently selling faulty
sets to customers. No logic.
NOP did not consist of ONLY those few names above. Sure they sold
PDMYB then as representative agents of NOP. The demise of NOP was
not due to them or PDMYB. Read para 6 again.
In summary, the content (and grammar) of a post can certainly tell
a person's credibility, maturity, intellect, iq, amongst many other
things.
Like what Mark Twain said,
"It is better to keep your mouth closed and let people think you
are a fool than to open it and remove all doubt".
