hah...there are indeed cases, and that's because they know absolutely nothing of what is investing in the first place.

People like Buffett are investors of very conservative nature. They don't borrow(using too much borrowed money is the reason why pple get bankrupt), using only insurance money as a leverage, and invest in what they know well, and not 'buy and hope that the price will go up'. Successful investors don't borrow beyond their means.

As long as I invest without borrowing extra money from the bank, there's no way I could be bankrupt. And returns can still be good.

So you see, you need to learn, to have knowledge in order to be successful and daydreaming and hope that without doing anything you can earn a fortune unless you stirke Toto, 4D or Big Sweep lah. Even so, you still need to go and queue up at Singapore Pools Outlet.

teekh, our business knowledge is a surplus to requirements here. MLM companies are designed to allow ppl with little or no business knowledge and little or no experience and little or no money to have a chance to term themselves as businessmen or being involved with some sort of business.

Why we don't compare MLM and tradation companies because MLM products come direct from warehouse. Ok, let take a look at any department store, their goods are all mostly come from layer and layers of supplies, thus, marking up the cost of the products. Also, the products that always sell in department are not so much richer in their content.

Just just a very short note as today is not a day work, hope you guys get what I mean. I'm rushing for party, will get back again tomorrow. That the beneifts for MLM - like to be off whenever I like. Can this be done in tradation business? :-)

teekh….. just asking u….. which MLM company currently allow u to have shares in the company?? as far as i know…. there is none too stuipid to do that, so how do u call that investment in the first place

Ok...I'm not exactly 100% against MLM. As said in the above post, there may be plausible scenarios that it may do well(though I haven't really experience one...maybe forever living or herbal life?), which I think is more likely on higher end and luxuorious products where perhaps service quality(one to one service) and exclusivity(ie Having what others don't) counts more than price; Where pricing isn't an issue at all.

I, however, disagree that MLMs can change very much the way we buy our daily groceries and household products, especially when price/price-for-performance is the key to decision-making process of buying.

Counting something as one's business means having at least a part-owenership in something; owning at least a share. Whatever else you are doing can only be called a profession. I think Rich Dad, despite my criticisms, explained it quite well, citing Ray Kroc(then-CEO of McDonald's), who said that selling hamburgers is his profession; his business is in real-estates(because McDonald's own the stores).

I have see too much down here, and recently, after one of my training that I conduct down in Malaysia, I feel, not all will accept MLM, and not all are for MLM. I mention this because if all will to get into MLM then , who will be there in tradition business? Will will attend to us if we will want to be on the plane? Who will be there for us if we need to have some great food?

So, in total, I feel, those who accept MLM will be able to enjoy life in they put in enough effort, and of course, those who did not accept will also be able to enjoy life.

Lastly, I give my highest respect to thsoe who are in normal tradition industry, without you, I won't know where to go during all my time during holiday. Thank you and keep up the Great work.
