Like to hear some feedback abt gmail, the free 1gb email service
Goggle came out with. They using the power of network marketing (
not mlm, i mean network marketing for those who knows the
difference) to 'sell' this new service cos only ppl that are
invited can apply for it.
Feel that very clever of Goggle as many ppl willing to advertise
for them by inviting or selling the 'invites' to others and ppl are
still willing to pay the invites for this free email, even when
it's supose to be free.
Why dun they let anyone register as per normal like other service?
Eg.yahoo
Although they claim it's in the testing stage that's why only
invited ppl are allowed to sign up. I personally feel that the main
reason is becos if they do as per normal,most ppl wun bother to
change email/ sign up for free. Changing email account is
troublesome, like changing phone no, need to inform all yr
friends.etc
Furthermore, with so many free email services to choose from, (and
not every one need 1gb) ppl may not necessary sign up with them,
especially for current yahoo email users which is the largest group
of free email users as most yahoo users should be satisified with
their 100mb email space which is more than enuff for most
ppl.
Therefore, Goggle came up with this 'invites' which limits ppl,
making those that have not been able to sign up to wonder what it
is...
Then, those already signed up will invite their friends or sell
away the invites, advertising this service for Goggle.
