I always wonder how cannavaro is able to deal with high and long
balls, especially with his height at only 175-176cm. It is
definitely not tall for any outfield player, what more a centre
back. I am amazed that he can win headers against the tallest of
strikers, sometimes even 10cm more than his height.
I know that he is well-known for his ability to read the game,
intercept, tackle and has a fast pace to match with pacey strikers
too, but what about his heading? Has anyone wondered how he dealt
with long balls?
