I'm 17 yrs now, support man utd since 11 yrs old.

I support them because their strike force was damn impressive. With Dwight Yorke and Andy Cole, and that time I treat Beckham as my idol, now also.

Back then, I know nuts about Man Utd winning any titles, didn't know what they talking about. Lost contact with the soccer world for few months, and back supporting Man Utd.

don't let this become a flame war ar.. Wink

Hey chill…chill…anw…supported Man United since 1998…i was only 7 then…coz my dad used to watch them play and i am always amazed at how they come back from other matches and their passion and drive…Now all these qualities r gone becoz of aging managers and players but i still firmly stuck with them…The strong support for them …u just cant change allegiance just like that..

I'm a Spurs fan since 1994/1995 season , the era of Klinsmann , Dumitrescu , Popescu and Sheringham and has been one ever since. Spurs finished in top 10 only twice for the following seasons and just won one Carling Cup and been through various managers such as Gerry Francis , Christian Gross , Glenn Hoddle etc. Not so much of a glory hunter I hope?
And I was a Sweden fan since 1994 world cup and Czech fan since 1996 , both teams did not exactly performed wonders for the previous tournaments either.. They are fair weathered fans out there definitely but they are die hard ones as well. Laughing

What's is exactly the threadster definition of Glory Hunter ?

A Non-Glory Hunter is defined as loving a club thick and thin , from the beginning of the day u started to like them , and love them , whether or not they are a championship team or relegation team , and never turn back since . Not a second team can make them turn their head around .

Glory hunter ? Love MU when MU is King , love Arsenal when Gunner is King , love Chelsea when Chelsea is King , not a consistent one-club fan . That is Glory Hunter .

Unless you disagree on this definition .

Glory hunter or no glory hunter , time will tell .....

Time will prove .....

There will be time when Chelsea disappear , the fans also disappear .

When Blackburn were King , there were a sudden influx of so-called Rovers fans Singing and praising the team , and then what ?

Leeds also same , many Leeds when they were doing well , then what now ?

You can call me Glory Hunter all you want , so what ? I don't eat chilli , not hot what ?

Why hot when people call you a Glory Hunter if you're not ?

All i know , i love Liverpool since 1982 , glory or no glory , up to you to decide .

If i am a Glory Hunter , i could've disappear in the 90's . Mr. Green

Someday if Sunderland comes back to EPL, and become the champion.
People may like them because of their hard work or passion towards the game. Even if they are relagated, they are still there for the team.

But then some will support them because of their success, and when they are being relegated again, all this so call supporters will disappear. This type are call glory hunters.

Threadstarter, peace ar. Laughing

How can I be called a Glory Huner if I supported Liverpool from 1997?

And Arsenal supporters aren't really considered Glory Hunters, They have been from the 1980s to current time underdogs to win the league.. I wouldn't talk about the Manu 1993 virus though

And I still support Leeds even though they are in the championship and smith went to manu

And there are GHs who stick with their clubs, Must see how far they know about their club history because the more they know about the history, The more they will fall in love with the club.

R3SsH|n SG

i support good football... Cool

Jader SG

I still support Parma despite the fact that it may go bankrupt anytime.
Have been supporting Parma since 1991.

Poolman SG

For those who supported one club , stick thick and thin with the club , proud of the club , you need not worry about what others said , cos you are doing the right thing by sticking with the club whatever cicumstances .

Whatever others said , i'm proud that i'm not a quitter of Liverpool FC since 1982 .

Still is now !!!
