Not yet but some interesting info to take note of. England giving 0.5 ball to Portugal. And Portugal got a few players not available for this important match...

hargreaves didnt exceed expectations.. he is really that good. again typical EPL minded players who dont notice the other leagues Laughing

stellazio SG

if i'm not wrong, there was more pages about man utd exiting the ucl group stages den liverpool winning it the previous season. Laughing

lpx88 SG

Ronaldo also like suddenly invincible at times when i tot all he could do wad fanciful stepovers Laughing

stellazio SG

nope, u see euro he play like crap..before this few games he also not that impressive, and he lost his starting spot in bayern. Wink

Poolman SG

England defeat is down to the midfielders not supplying the ammunitions , and scoring goals as well .

I am happy the likes of John Terry , Ferdinand , Hargreave , Cole , Crouch and Rooney has still got a lot to contribute for the next 4 years .

Defensively , England is alright , the best in the business still .

England must overcome the problem of over relying on mf to score .

A year older , a year wiser .

Hope this England squad do a overhaul for the European Cup 2008 .

Thanks Beckham , Neville and probably Owen .

BrUtUs SG

agree... he wasnt tat bad in german league...

stellazio SG

i think u will see mourinho smiling at lampard, terry and cole when training resumes.. Laughing

"Job Well Done"..

anhydrouscoppersulphate SG

in bayern he's not bad i think. an average player shines in a noob squad like england Laughing

JusStatic SG

Then what about the boot stepping on the private part of ricardo calvalho? Its fixed like the WWF ? Hahaha Mr. Green

I wonder if someone managed to infiltrate into the so called fixing behind the soccer matches. And until then, match fixing though they do exisits we may never know in which matches. Certainly Rooney wouldnt want to be a hero turn to a guy who will have his blood sought after all around in England. Lol

798 SG

i agree, he's overhype!!!

SGE should have pick defoe n bent in the 1st place. owen n walcott should have left at home, rooney in my view too!

stellazio SG

i remember he was dropped from the starting eleven..but his stamina really good.. Laughing

i think the penalty excuse on ingerland cannot hold. if they know they sux there, they jolly well practise to get it right. it's a self fulfilling prophecy tt if u r no good, then u will surely do badly. professionals like them cannot have it as the excuse.

they know by playing a lone striker, they better get their story on penalties right, given ingerland's miserly strike rate in the wc.

sven continues to be inept by sticking to players who r flops, including lanpard, beckham to a large extent and neville. his selection of theo is mind-boggling, given his intention nvr 2 use him.

all in all, i think sven screw up after been lucky for a while in the wc.

ingerland out in the 1/8. is it so hard to imagine? i'll be surprised if they go any further.

Poolman SG

Next four years , Hargraves have to be our main man for the Euro 2008 .

His stamina is astonishing , no players in the squad can match his fitness , is it because of his adeption to the German climax ?

hmsg SG

Becks should go... new Capt should be Gerard... dunno why in the world he handed the band to Terry in the other game and Gary Nev in the last game....

anhydrouscoppersulphate SG

owen should be left home coz missing many games due to injury
rooney left at home due to injury.. i've guess that roney wouldnt peak and need to gain back fitness
walcott needless to say inexperienced

england should bring crouch, bent, andy johnson, defoe

stellazio SG

but the red card was for the push, the referee didn't blow the whistle for the foul of shirt pulling..rooney could have gone down under slight contact, he didn't until it was too much..

i say its fixed, cuz host nations wins world cup after brazil win one..and like they said, all the teams that plays beautiful football is at home..left brazil.. Laughing

mrwonderful SG

england never had a chance win wc now or ever again. only boast alot and because of english soccer being widely televised here thats why ppl support them, ppl like beckham, who are way past their prime and are overshadowed by better players already.

see the first ten min against porturgal u know they definitely dont have the calibre to beat porturgal confidently, talk abt beat brazil and win wc.

i support brazil for the wc trophy anyway, when they are all on form their soccer is dazzling, like last wc, no competition. this year abit off-form, and lousy coach.

Anti-RuleSS SG

Haha maybe...But sven still kept faith on him.

BillyBong SG

While England deservedly lost, Portugal is another team who deserves to get knocked out in the semis for their unsporting play-acting...

Nuno Maniche is a real OSCAR winner in that sense...too bad the referee didn't dish out a yellow for his 'face injury' acting...the way he was rolling on the floor you'd think he got whacked big time by a sledgehammer. Rolling Eyes

CoolMyth SG

No lah. I think because he doesn't have a long season like Gerrard/LamPa. Laughing
