I expected a draw but I bet 0-0 draw instead of 2-2 draw.... arg... lost money!

Still it was a draw as expected and England's world cup strategy still firmly in place and will go on to win the world cup.

sia i love the goal from joe cole… swee

R3SsH|n SG

england like cannot handle fast attacking...once sweden come in fast and hard..england cannot take it liao...start to crumble...i think ashly cole is a liability...maybe they should just play 3 centre backs once in a while...
sub ashly cole when the balls keep coming from the flanks...knn...he could hardly block one flank ball coming in....then whats the use of your fullback? Mad

carragher...terry...ferdinand...but please dun put campbell !!!
i think it is a mistake to bring him into the world cup...you could tell how unsteady he was...even missing the header which cost the last goal...

dragg SG

after all that he had done owen wont be playing anymore in this competition.

fate!!!

dragg SG

sweden's goalkeeper is below par.

he could and should have done better for both england's goals.

Lampard & J cole are really selfish players... They are only interested of their own end, never consider for the whole england team. In Euro 2004 when Paul Scholes was the central midfielder, he created chances for M owen & Rooney. Now with lampard, he is only interested in showing off to the world that he can score from far, so try to take pot shots whenever he likes. He is not interested on passing, not keen on creating. i say he should have got a yellow card yesterday then miss the next match so that sven can try out M carrick with gerrard.

Sad, if this continue... England will be out very soon.

shade343 SG

FUCK THAT SWEDISH GUY WHO MISSED THE PENALTY SHOT!! Evil or Very Mad

The moment i saw that, I went to bed liao....$5 down the drain

anhydrouscoppersulphate SG

it seems like gerrard has saved england’s ass.

Parka SG

Michael Owen is a sad case. The way I see it, it seems to be a very bad injury. Nobody can injured themselves like that doing a simple pass.

LinYu SG

so far, brazil and england performance is below par.
Cool Cool Cool

Agenda SG

the way he crawled out, But its not as bad as Cisse's

His was slow motion while Cisse broke in a split second

Probably his retribution for leaving in a 8m+ crap player transfer Laughing

I noticed that all the players newcastle that have been signed by Souness are very good players but when to went to Newcastle, They played crappily..

Not only are they stalking Liverpool scouts, They are hiring ex-Reds

Damn that Shepherd and his Reds fetish

Parka SG

Correction, England is above par.

Laughing

Parka SG

Ibrahimovic didn't perform. Hmmm, he played well on youtube though.

Laughing

dragg SG

you can blame lampard but not cole.

cole was easily the man of the match. without him england would have lost.

Agenda SG

LOL.. I didn't see him during the match Laughing I only saw Ljunberg, Kallstrom, Allback, Larsson, Svensson and Wilhemsson

England looks like potential world champions in the first half. Their performance surprised me especially after Crouch came on but second half was a different story. Sweden could or should have won the game. 2 shots hit the cross bar, one shot clear off the line. England is lucky to get the draw in the end. If they maintain the first half standard, they may stand a chance. Judging by their weakness at corner kicks. If Ecardor can explore that, it might be a tough game for England next round.

countdracula SG

please set aside your very apparent anti-chelsea sentiments...cole was inspired, he did little wrong, if anything he brought england the win. lampard is an attacking midfielder in his own right, he did what's he is doing all season. he had good passes and though my 5 year old can do better in front of goal, he did more than what crouch and the midget did althogether. his passes are telling, holding well and taking chances where there is one. most times he is in front of goal when owen should be there. owen is often overshawdowed by bigger defenders. crouch is a disgrace to the spider community at large though yesterday he did a little better by noy flagging his limbs too often. the flanks were inbalanced, beckham needs to do better.

dragg SG

frankly most liverpool fans think crouch is good for england.

i really disagree.

crouch should be used only when height is an obvious advantage.

Agenda SG

you sure? if you go to liverpool fan site, many already saying that he should be a sub rather than a choice over owen and rooney

so stop trying to be a jose mourinho because its not gonna prevent chelsea not winning the league next season Mr. Green

Poolman SG

Campbell can handle aerial better tha Ferdinand . Ferdinand struggled with those aerial bombardments from the Swede .
