stupid bruckner took off poborsky when he was the only player
who played so well till that time.
lokvenc was pure sh*t. rosicky and nedved didn't play v.
well.
They crumbled under Ghana's physical approach (rough tactics) and
tireless running.
The early goal stunned the Czechs; and from then on, they found it
difficult to breach Ghana's defence.
The aerial tactics deployed by Bruckner was pure naviety.
Sulley Ali Muntari's tireless running on and off the ball, high
work-rate, skilfull dribbling and an eye for key passes were really
impressive, and he was a thorn in the Czech's defence.
Ujfalusi's sending off made a Czech comeback an even tougher task;
which is almost as good as a pure fantasy.
With a f*ckin ref, eveything went Ghana's way.
Stephen Appiah drove the team forward; setting a captain's
example.
Czech will have to thank petr Cech from a drubbing. He made an
awful lot of wonderful saves.
Without good enough reserves to cover for the Czech's first team,
injuries or suspensions to key players such as rosicky, poborsky,
koller, cech, ujfalusi and baros, they have no decent backup
players and are bound to suffer.
Now the Czechs have a tough game against the Azzuri...
Good luck to 'em, and hope that koller and baros will return to
provide a much stiffer threat to the famous Italian defence
comprising of Buffon, Nesta, Cannavaro, and Zambrotta. (Maldini had
retired.)
New boy Zaccardo is eager to prove himself again, with Fabio Grosso
and Marco Materazzi provding decent backup.
