Argentina Vs Serbia

Holland nowhere near England's class?! Nowhere Near!? Are u sure u're referring to the Holland National Team and not Holland Village FC? If it's really the...

Argentina have a very good team work, if a player made a mistake another one will try to cover and they don’t blame on each another. The speed they fill up the area is very fast, they will know to run to open space fast to create chances plus the kind of passing and vision reflex is very good.

hahaha, I totally not qualified to comment on the Args because after watching a couple of minutes, I was so sure that they would win against the Serbs... I stopped watching the predictable game. England games on the other hand I watched completely because it was always nail biting and could have gone either way.

Not only did I not watch last night's game I have never watched this Arg team played. So I am just pro England and Arg blind.... hahahaha Laughing

England and Arg if they play together would be a joy to watch. Can see which methodology works better. Can see how England will answer Arg kind of playing. Arg will just do what they do.... England will strategise.

T.Ryousuke SG

They are different technically, but base on Argentina soccer, oneday you will be their fan.

T.Ryousuke SG

Cos we have too much EPL.

Argentina is similar to Arsenal technically, not totally, but very similar.

T.Ryousuke SG

They call it total football.

Marco_Simone SG

Total Football in its purest form as practiced by Ajax and the Oranje in the '70s is dead though we have seen incarnations of it from time to time...such as Dynamo Kiev under Lobanovsky.

Today, the top teams such as Arsenal,Chelsea,Barca and Milan will display play akin to Total Football every now and then during the course of their games...but it would be suicidal to play purely Total Football in the modern era if all you want are results...

T.Ryousuke SG

Like Milan against Liverpool in 05 CL?

T.Ryousuke SG

Milan is infact defensive but i think 3-0 up they were too complacent liao.

such a boring game, no suspense at all.

The Args play so differently from England.

England play team work and strategy... Args, ability to kick the ball.

ENGLAND ENGLAND ENGLAND down with Args.......

But may the best team win.... Neutral

i dun think u know wat is real team work until u watched the Argentina's game... the 2nd goal is a real beauty from pure teamwork.

and i guess 0-0 matches going into penalties must be the most exciting game to u...

lol England games are nail biting?
more like games of frustration, unable to score on several clear cut chances in last match so thats why it can go either way. Theres no way they can get away with that if they face better teams. Though the argentina match is one-sided its still much more entertaining to watch than any of England 'nail biting' matches Laughing

Embarassed

T.Ryousuke SG

You play soccer? which position?

Me right footed ,left flank cos always nobody there to mark me. And good position to score goals too with yr right foot at left side of the goal mouth.

casino_king SG

The one against T&T was so frustrating until the people watching with me were screaming for a score whether it was England or T&T going for goal. After a while, nobody was anybody's fan.... just score a BL00DY goal, any side, anybody, somebody...... Laughing

You must excuse me lah... I England fan. Nobody is better than England and if England miss, bad luck and if England lose, it is because of bad luck.

casino_king SG

and if Arg wins 6-0; the game is boring because, well they are just Orang Utans with feet like hands aren't they? Laughing

UandMe SG

i just wonder how u predict the game will be boring just by watching a couple of minutes. Although u can see the fluid passing of the Args in the first few minutes, but Serbia has one of the best defensive records in the qualifyings, won't u expect it to be a tight match?

of course u predicted it correctly in this case

xfool SG

most of the goals are a delight to watch so how can it be boring Question

Anyway its definately better to see goals rather than horribly missed chances like in last England match Mr. Green

casino_king SG

Because I saw the Serbs play with (was it) Holland? Holland nowhere near Engalnd's class but won anyway. But mainly because the Args passed so fast and accurately. I turned to my friend who was watching with me and I said: Look at that? How can the Serbs stop them? My friend agreed and said, no way.

He continued watching and I go and do other more interesting things.

casino_king SG

all those horrible misses! get the blood boiling... watch football for catharsis right? Not just admire the skills unless you Arg fan.

Like if ManU play s-league side, you want to watch?

xfool SG

no I dun support Arg,just that I bet them to win by -1 1/2 Mr. Green

casino_king SG

ai yah say so lah.... once you place a bet 0-0 also exciting. just don't get caught by the gambling spirit arr...

does not matter how much you bet to get the excitement. If you need to bet more and more to get the same excitement then you are in trouble... it is called tolerance and you are on the way... to hopelessness..... see my sig below.
