c. ronaldo quitting man utd?

anhydrouscoppersulphate SG

the unsettled 21 year old is apparently ready to quit man utd if he can seal a move to spanish giants barca or real. (from the straits times H7)

X-men SG

It would be a pity but he looked unsettle in Man U to me

tarcki SG

hope ManU can fetch a gd price if he realli leaves.

stellazio SG

he wants to be the star, but rooney is the star..and frankly speaking, for all the stepovers and flicks that he does, david beckham has contributed so much more to the team..and that is something i think ronaldo will fail to replicate..his corners is kinda weak..okok i dun wana compare the 2 of them, but RVN himself has admitted that he was pissed off with ronaldo's over fancy footwork instead of supplying crosses to him.. Laughing

sad stuff we have here…christiano vs park hu win?...hahaha

It will be so much better for him to ply his trade in La Liga than EPL. Man Utd's game plan involves releasing ball to teammates when they are in good position. But to many of his team mates's dismay, he did the other way round and show extras along with it. Mr. Green

Also, it remains to be seen whether he delivers good crosses from the right. So far, not much and hasn't stamp his authority on the right.

His trickery and showmanship will be well recieved either in Barca or Real Madrid.

stellazio SG

his crossing sucks..

MingFreeman SG

Corners aso not good…...most of the balls delivered from corners cant even get past the first defender.

stellazio SG

yes thats what i noticed, and his free kicks save for that wonder against fulham was it?is all destined for the fans or the wall.. Laughing

Båseline SG

Sometimes I wonder if he should play a forward instead. Reminds me of the Brazilian Ronaldo twisting and turning...using every trick thats in the book at fast speed. hmmmm Confused

stellazio SG

he played as a striker for sporting lisbon sometimes.. Laughing

Båseline SG

If I play FM, sure put him as Striker's role and use his dribbling to full effect. Train him regularly in shooting first. Laughing

lpx88 SG

actually his dribbling skill didn really help Man U ....If only he can pass and cross more...but if he leave...we have no more right winger...must buy new 1 Rolling Eyes

It would be interesting to see if Christiano leaves Man Utd.

His committment is unquestioned, but his development as a player leaves a lot to be desired. His crossing is really bad but that's ok if he was able to take on players and get pass them, penetrate the defence and do those one-two passes to score. But he can't do either and at best, he simply entertains the crowd.

He's still not used to the hard tackling of the premiership and his talent may be best served in spain or portugal. Would like to see him hold the ball more often and make those incisive passes or at the very least whip in a decent cross now and then.
