Speed is often confused with insight. When I start running earlier than the others, I appear faster."

In other words,no point being a 100m sprinter and running like Forrest Gump...

Very Happy

stellazio SG

acceleration and pace must also be considered, some run very fast with the ball, some run very fast off the ball..

walcott is u have seen his clips is very fast..

T.Ryousuke SG

Ya , some are fast but half way loss the ball. Some are not accurate in crossing- alway balloon. some shoot straight to keeper. Some pattern liao liao end up loss the ball also.

Fast doesn't mean have the footballing brain, able to position yourself to receive the ball and past the marker and be accurate in crossing and shooting is the key to be fast.

Patrik SG

Ronaldo during his prime.
Fastest in the world.

stellazio SG

yea..i was about to say that too..when he was at psv and barca he was super fast with or without the ball..

Patrik SG

Yeah
Watch his clips and u will know.
When he burst into acceleration,no one can catch him.

stellazio SG

and the worst thing for defenders was that not only was he fast, he could dribble as well.. Laughing

the trick ronaldinho made famous in the portugal vs brazil commercial where he push the ball with the outside of his right boot den bring it to the left with the inside of his right boot was done by ronaldo in the uefa cup before..

anhydrouscoppersulphate SG

how times have changed Evil or Very Mad

Twice A Day SG

Yes yes ronaldo
I have always seen ronaldo being "caught"....But from behind thoug and that always results in a free kick...Really amazing..when he was at barca...Defenders just didnt have enough time to think yet alone react...

Instinctively they would bring him down to stop him....

But fast let me see....i guess freedie ljunberg kinda fast...Busting around with a sore foot...I dont really think c-ronaldo is fast..Just seem too fanciful and slowing down e defender in the process...

kaobeikaobu SG

henry - fastest on the ball
ronaldo - used to be...now the fatest among the fastest n ego too.

but the winner of the day has got to be drogba. not only he runs fast, he takes the cake cos he adds in the fastest diving factor too. Laughing

stellazio SG

not only that..if i'm not wrong he once did a triple stepover to round a keeper before.. Laughing

Patrik SG

I like to see Ronaldo round keepers.
He never fails to score.
And he makes it a point to dribble past the keepers.
Laughing

stellazio SG

henry also another one that like to round keeper..
