limpshaggy SG

Hi, my team needs 2 to 3 defenders and 1 gk. We are playing around bukit batok. Our team is from 17 to 24. So the requirement is these
1)Must be able to travel to bukit batok regularly on saturdays morning 9am '
So far we have a couple of guys from east one, but they have car so they are ok with the distance.
2)Only defenders and gk need apply
We have enough strikers and midfielders.
3)Must be at least 16 but not older than 26
4)Must be able to be committed to the team and attend practice matches and friendly matches regularly on saturdays morings and sometimes sundays mornings. Once a week at most.

That's all, e-mail or msn me at [email protected] your details or hp no to sms also can.
pm me if you want, but that is slower. Smile

huh??? u mean ur team has 17 to 24 players???
n u tell mi none of them plays defender or keeper??
looks 2 mi tat all ur players onli wan 2 score goals....
mi remember my team all players must learn how 2 play at least 2 position....

nullifi3d SG

i think he measn 17 - 24 years old
Its hard to find a gk that is born and bred. Some just play GK because they used to plsay basketball so their ball catching skills is ok. But they lack in other areas like taking goalkick, diving, controlling the back line etc.
GK is the most tough position to play. I know it too well liao. Ask lionel lewis (sp?).

Defenders also can score mah( set pieces, wing attacks), think most of the player tot they only can attack. My team lack player in any position, gk, df, striker, midfielder,, ani 1 care to join ?

hey www, i haven seen ur forum and the introductions of ur players.
All say can play all position, all say best position and favourite position is striker.
I tink dats a bad thing, 1stly, not many guys can play all position, 2ndly, if ur mentality is all about striker and scoring, ur team wun do well, no team wrk as well.

www SG

u havent seen my forum and introduction of my players but u know what is going on?

would appreciate if u can rephrase your entire comment coz i am having a hard time understanding where u are trying to say.

if you read carefully on what i am "selling", i am inviting players who would like to enjoy games of casual soccer.

can u enlighten me on how my team can do as well as your team?

i mean i have seen
I dun mean my team can do as well as yours and i dun have a full whole squad to challenge yours. And if u are selling casual soccer, ur team can 100% win mine (if i have formed) ?
U are also being sacarstic, arent u ?
++Contradicting urself, saying ur team is for casual and den say ur team is great ? So which is the truth? What is the actual information u wanna imply? Causual or great?

www SG

can i know when did i imply that i have a great team?

i admit i was being sacarstic and i believe that i had to. after all, if someone tells u that u are not doing well, he or she must be doing better, no?

i think you've misread his intentions.

layman term explanation.

they play football, feel free to join them for a fun game of football.

no one is telling you who's better or worse.

kopiosatu SG

i think u should re-read the post he had in blue.

xyone87 SG

i noe what he meant , but if u read the last sentence. he means i am saying dat his team is lousy ++ , sacastically telling me to prove to him my team is better...indirectly saying his team sure win...read between words....

kopiosatu SG

"If you ain't looking for something too vigorous or competitive, this might be the joint for you!"

i don't see where he says that you're lousy.

i really suggest you read that line again and understand it from a direct point of view.

you want to know what this line says? it says "if you don't want to play competitive football, feel free to join us for a kickaround"

now, if you still want to read it YOUR way, then so be it.

kopiosatu SG

now, if the line you're talking about is this

"can u enlighten me on how my team can do as well as your team? "

well look back at your reply to his first post.

"tink dats a bad thing, 1stly, not many guys can play all position, 2ndly, if ur mentality is all about striker and scoring, ur team wun do well, no team wrk as well. "

why are you passing judgement when you haven't even understood the real intention of www asking you to join his team for a game of football?

please look back and understand what you have created out of nothing.

www SG

thks kopi for clearing things up. i couldnt have explained it better.

xyone87 SG

Well, when he reminded me his team was 4 leisure, i knew i was wrong. I admit …but by adding the last sentence means something extra. It like if he didnt add the last sentence everything will be fine. The last sentence is phrase in such a gd way but actually ai jian shang ren.
