Milan suffer triple injury
worry
MILAN, April 22 (Reuters) - AC Milan's preparations for Wednesday's
Champions League semi-final return at Barcelona suffered a blow
with three players taken off injured in the first half of their
Serie A match at Messina.
The six-times European champions said later on their website that
Brazilian defender Cafu had also picked up an injury at Messina and
that all four players would be examined on Sunday.
'We will see how they are on Sunday because at the moment we can't
say anything,' said Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti.
Brazilian Kaka and Italy defender Alessandro Nesta were both
substituted with injuries and then midfielder Massimo Ambrosini,
who had replaced Kaka, also had to go off in the 28th minute of
Saturday's match.
Milan were already without striker Filippo Inzaghi who has been
struggling to recover from a virus which kept him out of the 1-0
first-leg defeat by Barcelona at the San Siro.
