Wayne Rooney for Player of the year!

zocoss SG

I believe Wayne Rooney should be named Player of the year for the 2005/2006 season. A Far better player then Lampar & Thierry Hairy. Do you all agree?

stellazio SG

young player yes..player of the year either John terry or Stevie G..

zocoss SG

Nah… Terry is not as good as most make it out to be… he is just lucky that he has a good team of defenders if 1 on 1 he is not fast. Gallas is a better defender than him. As for Gerrard, he has not done well this year compare to last. For young player, either Fabregas or Ronaldo. Rooney still the best choice for Player of the year!

The man who was death SG

Steve Davis for young player of the year next season!!!!!!!!!

RSP SG

Fabregas should win Young player of the year...This has been a breakthrough season for him.

As for player of the year, I think its going to be either Frank Lampard or John Terry..

Takumi2eLimit SG

Frank Lampard weren't that consistent although he got 16goals as a midfielder.

Stevie G will miss out.

It's a three way race for Terry,Rooney and Henry. That's the way i see it. Laughing

Player of the yr should be Henry

tarcki SG

A move to a big club means young player of the year? He din even have much playing time, i feel he should win as a man city player n not as a chelsea player. Wink

wat you know..

swp, play minimum games to get the league.
and earn tons of money.

I bet he can play longer than shearer and win more league titles or Cups that anyone without any injuries. And Chelsea Club loves him, cause he saved the most, no need laundry.

if got such jobs, you don't want huh??

that's why young player of the year.

There was one dutch player who left Chelsea.. what's his name?
no play, but got money. That's the ultimate. Imagine, sitting at home, and Chelsea still have to pay you. Best Player of Century Award.

Henry

I admired his sporting and committment spirits for football.

zocoss SG

Well, for young player Ronaldo should win cos over the season he played better than Fabregas who only came good in the later part of the season.

As for Player of the year... Lampar? You saw how he avoided John Arne Riise Free Kick to let Liverpool take the lead?? Not a brave player, so afraid the ball will hit him, And John Terry: Player of the year? Oh man.. Anyone who saw Liverpool's second goal knows it was his mistake.

So these 2 Jokers for Player of the year... Come on, the F.A. can do better than that.

Anyway, just happy that Chelsea lost last night. So end of the Double dream. With so much of Roman Abramovich money spent, "The Special One" has only 2 trophies to show for. In 2 years somemore...
