read what you have said yourself...
a team must become his father?
the team pays him to play football... and a professional footballer
should know how to conduct himself, not go on drunkened rampages,
assault and all that...
just like a school is not the place where the student learns
morality... that's the responsibility of the parents...
i think you're mistaken... badly mistaken...
btw, how much is enough, if the club tries and the person doesn't
want to change... who is to blame?
the lack of personal responsibility of Pennant is glaring, yet
clubs get the blame?
maybe in there, you have to give it a thought...
some things, we have to be responsible for... the behaviour of the
player off the pitch, causing trouble within the team, i'd offload
the person.. after all, he's receiving about the pay of 100 adults,
he sure as hell better start taking personal responsibility to
behave like one...
so, who has failed?
the person whose prime responsibility is his own?
or the club who went out of its way to help him but could
not?
if you say it is the club, and you are representative of the youth
today, i fear for the country and our future...
