yeah i agree with you. but pity singaporeans are not receptive
to thongs yet. people are stuck with the "eeee" mentality that they
"eeee" almost everything. That's why those who have the guts (and
the bod) to wear thongs are afraid of other people's opinions
Chances are, those people who say "eeee" are:
1) Too fat to wear thongs themselves
2) Have thought of trying themselves but lack the guts
3) people who only follow the crowd.
I give you an example: hipster jeans. and miniskirts. Not everybody
can wear them. When was the last time you see a fat (and sometimes
covered in pimples) ass peaking out from a pair of hipster jeans?
I'm sorry but that's not a pretty sight, in my opinion. Of course
there will be those who disagree. But my point is, these people can
blindly follow trends, but will make fun of those who have the guts
to defy convention.
So for those who have the guts, don't care so much about what
people say. Just do it.
