Look at Real Madrid, they have tons of money too, but did they win any shit for the past 2 seasons? Give credit when it is due. Chelsea won last season because they were a group of good footballers who were able to click as a team, and play as a team. Madrid is a team of superstars who played for their individual benefits.

Without the tons of money will Chelsea get good players in the first place? If Chelsea were as before can they splurge on players like Essien and SWP? I highly doubt so.If Chelsea had not been waving their cash at these 2 players' clubs, i believe that Essien wud go to man u and SWP will end up in Arsenal.But they didn.Becoz Chelsea offered a pirce that other clubs cannot match.sure other clubs lyk man u also spent.Liverpool spent.But did they approach the 300 million mark in a mere 2 seasons?

Before I say something here, I have to clarity I am not trying to offend Liverpool fans. I admit that Liverpool is good.

But the EPL title is what Liverpool missing for decades, and that's only medal that Stevie's cabinet lack of. EPL title is as important as Champions League, depending on you look at it at which perspective.

Regarding spending over 100m for the pass two season, come on, use your common sense. Don't tell me you bought a super players 10 or 5 years back with 1m, now you still expect to get super players with that amount?

I remember i buy sweet few years back, I can get 10 sweet with 10 cents, nowadays 10 cents I can only buy nuts. It's call inflation! Oh my god.

manutd won ....the $ factor only played a small part..when manutd's era of winning trophies,they won with a core of home grown players.Look at beckham,giggs neville brothers,scholes,butt,brown.....u mean manutd BUY THEM WITH MILLIONS?!....the academy trained them,they rose thru the ranks n won the lot.

but no doubt, it plays a huge huge part in Chelski's success..

Without Mourinho, Chelski might still win the Premier League..
But without Abramovich's money, Chelski definitely will not win the EPL or even get close...
