super-swap

Inter Milan and Real Madrid will continue talks over a stunning
four-player swap - despite this week's resignation of the Spanish
club's president Florentino Perez.
Talks have been ongoing for some weeks between the two clubs which
would see Real striker Ronaldo and midfielder Guti move to Inter in

Inter coach Robert Mancini is pushing for the deal to happen as he
sees Ronaldo and Guti the perfect fit for fellow new arrivals
Maxwell and Maicon (Monaco) in the summer.
Inter Milan wrapping up Ballack deal -
in Florence
tribalfootball.com - March 1, 2006
Inter Milan are closing in on Bayern Munich midfielder Michael
Ballack.
Hours after the Germany captain denied reports he had received a
bumper offer from Chelsea, it emerged that talks had been held in
Florence involving Inter officials and Ballack's agent, Michael
Becker. Becker is said to have met with Inter transfers chief Marco
Branca and the club's finance director Rinaldo Ghelfi.
Ghelfi's presence suggests terms have all but been agreed and
Ballack will soon put pen to paper on an Inter contract.
The midfielder is off contract from Bayern in June and can move to
Inter on a Bosman.
