Xabi Alonso is doubtful for the clash.
It's going to be another hard fought encounter between the 2
teams.
For me, the key lies with where Rafa Benitez deploys Steven
Gerrard.
With Alonso out, I will love to see Stevie G start in the middle of
the park alongside either Hamann or Sissoko. That will be ideal,
IMO.
However, if Rafa decides to stick with Gerrard on the right and
play Hamann and Sissoko in the middle, it will be tough to get a
positive result against United. With all due respect to the duo, I
don't see much creativity from the liverpool midfield with the 2
lining up there.
Liverpool have been playing with a lot of confidence at home this
season. United will have to dig deep to get a win. Its certainly
not impossible. Liverpool's defence have been carved apart off
late, especially during set pieces.

Liverpool 0 - Manchester United 0
or
Liverpool 1 - Manchester United 0 (if Steven Gerrard plays in
central midfield)
