Manchester City striker Andy Cole has been sensationally axed -
just days before he is due to sign a new one-year deal.
The Sun say Blues boss Stuart Pearce told the 34-year-old striker
yesterday afternoon that he will not start at Everton today.
Cole, who is fully fit, was furious when told he was making way for
£6million Greek new-boy Georgios Samaras.
