Just want to add on a list of players that were left out from
previous lists.
1. Bebeto (If not for Romario, WC'94 would have been 'Bebeto's
world cup' )
2. Jean-Pierre Papin (deadly world class finisher who played for
Marseille and AC Milan; sadly the french team during his time was
pathetic and did not win any major honours at international
level)
3. Gary Lineker (one goal short of Bobby Charlton's 49 goal record
for England; one of the most consistent goal scoring
machines)
4. Ally McCoist (Broke european and domestic goalscoring records
during his time at Rangers)
5. Rudi Voeller (Klinnsmann's lower profile strike partner in the
national team)
6. Hernan Crespo (World class finisher, decent scoring records at
various clubs in Serie A, one of the toughest league in the
world)
7. Tomas Schruharvy (Star of the Czechoslovakia team in the early
90s)
I believe there should be many more that have been left out..
anyone care to add on ?
