England Vs Argentina Friendly Tommorrow

marcteng SG

England and Argentina friendly matches are never friendly in the past and there have been a lot of bad blood between 2 soccer powerhouses in the 1986 hand of god goal by maradona and simone & beckham spat in 1998.

I reckon it will be a draw tommorrow, to be held at Switzerland, neutral ground for this friendly match.

Notice that the local press and TV shows in ESPN are all talking about England.

Hyping it up until nobody take notice of Argentina.

Well, smart punters will know where to put their $$$ on.

Look out for In-form Carlos Tevez from Corinthians, Brazilian Leauge where it's one of,m if not the roughest league in the world.

There's teenage prodigy, Lionel Messi, from Barca, whose on form now.

And if teen winger Neri Cardozo plays on the right wing, watch him waltz!

Dun forget there's Aimar, Riquelme, Maschereno, Crespo, Ayala.

My God, am I onky the one hyping over Argentina?!

798 SG

because fifa, espn and locals support england! if u happened to hear the commentarys, u can see the commentors are biased against argentina too. Evil or Very Mad

I dont listen to comments from ESPN, local media and newspaper and especially soccernet. Propaganda, and baised towards the EPL and English football.

Listening or reading those articles too much might narrow your football perspective.

Its good to see someone hype about Argentina, they got the players to play with a style that befits the beautiful game.

And someone mentioned about Maradona's hand of god? A goal that was not surppose to be given?

What about the 1966 world cup goal which didn't cross the line? Why don't they go on and on and on about the unfairness perpetrated on Germany?

Things like this happen, alot of England fans sounded as if injustice cannot be done to England but can be done to other teams.

Yes Maradona cheated and scored a hand goal, but he did scored one of the best goals of world cup histroy too in the EXACT SAME MATCH, dribbling 4 england players and rounding that time best gk in the world Peter Shilton. That England team was also widely regarded as a team who had the best chance of winning the WC that time. With players like Terry Butcher in the defense.

Maradona showed the world that day even without his hand goal, he could win the game himself. 3-1 Argentina beat England that day.

Maradona was/is a gift from the football gods to us all.

Give credit when its due.
