u cannot judge drogba base on just 1 match he scored alot and assist alot for the team already I can't see any better striker u talking about who can both assist and score goals.

Thierry Henry.

Wayne Rooney.

There, I named two.

i actually thought Drogba had a good season..
His technique and uncanny ability to backheel the ball with precision has came as an added bonus..

take yday nite for example.. his capbility in bringing down the ball and trying to hoof the ball over Van Der Sar.. was a tough feat in itself..

Up till now... i would think he has shown why he is one of the better strikers in the EPL.. although he is still a long way from Henry.. who has been marvellous again (duhx)..

Anyone recalled that he did score twice against Blackburn Rovers.. nt that long ago ? Certainly he would bring a different dimension to any team he played in...
Come on.. dun tell me that you would prefer Crouch or Heskey instead ? Laughing

Rooney is the unfinished article. Even Henry is in awe of what the youngster can do in the future. At his age Rooney had performed very well and who can well expect less from him in the future.

Remember Drogba is not the only striker in EPL.

Rooney is a bull-to-be

he is explosive and dangerous
he can read the game quite well

after 12 matches he scored only 6. lampard 10!! the whole team 28.

and they normally play 4-5-1.

Jeno SG

haha.. i'm actually quite surprised that Drogba got 6 goals..
cause i tot he got less than that... Pleasant Surprise thou..

6 goals in 12 matches.. isn't that bad.. it's still relatively good for a top EPL striker..

4-5-1 doesn't favour the lone striker much.. U can see how Van Nistelrooy is struggling to perform that task..

Personally i felt that 4-5-1 does not mean that there will be more chances for the lone striker to score from..

Instead.. 4-5-1 allows one of the midfielders to break from the central 2.. to have a pot shot at goal.. in this case.. it happens to be Frank Lampard..
i would think that would explain why Lamps has more goals .. and always seemed to be unmarked in the D area...

nickycai SG

yeh yeh yeh...at last chelsea winning style in EPL had broken...really big big clap to MU team..they defence so well although they seldom attack..1-0 is so important than 10-0.....
Smile
i think jose is in big big trouble now....he sure so mad mad cow now...hahhha

Jeno SG

yah.. that might be a huge possibility.. Mr. Green

since losing a game doesn't make much difference.. given their huge lead... hopefully they will keep thinking that way.. Laughing
