anyway, i feel its a good thing. it will really give sg tourism a boom, and we have something to relate on when it comes to resort/tourist attraction. and locals have more variety when it comes to recreation and entertainment.

I think all the stupid surveys and opening of rehab centre and all the stupid debates are juz for show only.

I think LKY thinks we are stupid when he said he regretted the idea of not building F1 track in s'pore, datsy now muz not give up chance of building casino. Rolling Eyes Laughing

Even if S'pore open casino, I will not patronise cos the bets in Sing$$$, too expensive, I will rather go Genting, city of Entertainment. or I wait for Thailand to build, betting in RM and Thai Baht is a whole lot better.. Smile

it should have open 10 year ago... so i now can everyday go make a living out of it... cover all my cost if there is any like enterence fees... win $100 and call it a day...

i say for sure casino will be coming but i just want to know will singaporean be offer a job in there? dun later you dun find a single singaporean working in there, you will oni find bangala do the cleaning work, china mei mei doing chambermaid for the hotel and oni the ang mo are allow to work as counter lady, floor manager, dealer etc...

fcuk the garment... all tax will be going to them but singaporean??? if everything turns out good, i dun think we will get anything MUCH out of this and if this turn out to be another flop, well we singaporean will have to bear the all consequence.

Do u all really think there is a moral issue here abt the casino opening? I personally feel that the outcome is a forgone conclusion and i support it. My 2 cents is that the opening of the casino is to ensure the survival of Singapore’s immediate future. By opening, the billions being poured into the economy could revive Singapore’s economy for the next decade. As we all know the situation in Spore now quite bad, many companies moving out. So i hope the casino thing will kickstart the economy, if not, i will be eating North-west wind real soon.

It's about the alternatives.But if they are so hell-bent on opening it..then they better bloody make it worth the social costs its going to generate.Build it world-class or don't f.ucking build the damned thing.
