hmm.. sounds like the olden days of english power, where kings
will marry their own sister to keep the royal blood true from being
tainted.

Incest has came a long way, from ancient egyptians to chinese
dynasties where marry of blood cousins are encouraged. However, at
this present time and space that we call civilised 21st century, it
is frowned upon.
Hope you will grow out of it, not because of any other reasons
besides social acceptance.
