You can still bring a date to a nice place to have dinner, go dutch and take public transport to send her home. I think taking a bus or taxi home is much more romantic and driving a girl back home....

<sk> SG Err... you do not neccessarily have to bring the girl out to a high class french restaurant like Saint Pierre to impress her. A date can be a movie(at most $8.50 x 2 + $0.50 for phone booking on weekends) and coffee/ drinks... as for dinner it can be at a food court
