There are reasons why things happen.
No sane rational being
starts out with the intention to hurt anyone especially in affairs
of the heart such as r/s & marriage. If fools are not fools and
they turn wise in the face of emotions that are almost as strong as
love, what then is love that has been helmed as the greatest
motivation of existence?
Then again, many may argue that it's often lust in such cases. But
who on earth does know the workings of the heart fully? Who can
search anyone's soul and define / classify emotions &
intentions clearly? Life has its mysterious lessons that are beyond
the grasp of human understandings.
Of course, love is not the license to hurt and never is. But it's
no trivial, insignificant force that one may shrug off simply. It
takes time, sheer effort and immense courage for both involved
parties to do what's appropriate for the sake of harsh reality
defined by the society that's rigidly framed by morality and many
such.
Anyway, here's just my 1-cent worth..
Can't help saying the above as some forumites are brutally
degrading these struggling beings to being idiots, sub-humans,
b.itches, s.luts and what-nots.
Granted that they should be given criminal treatment for hurting
innocent parties but there's even Yellow Ribbon Movement these days
that ask for mercy towards ex-convicts. So shan't we give these
troubled souls some sensitive understanding instead of utter
one-way condemnation? These are the ones who may really need help
from a virtual outlet such as sgForums.
If there's no avenue of help but just sheer vicious
finger-pointings for these confused beings, they'd never be as
freed as the ex-convicts in the adverts.
Of course, my view differ if there's any planned murders of
4-yr-olds (or anyone) involved. That's sheer mindless inhuman
emotional violence that can't be condoned.
At the end of the day, whatever the case may be, love triumphs
& outlasts and it always does wherever it is, whatever it
touches, at whichever or whoever's side it is rooted in.
If it's not love, all else fades away. Nothing stands against it,
not even logic or mere reasons.
