Just read on Straits Times Sports S19 on Mizuno Wave Run 2004

Anyone keen to join for a fun run?

Venue: Kovan Hub (Former Hougang St 21, Bus Interchange)
Distance: 10km
Race Start Time: 0730hrs

Registration : World of Sports Outlets

Registration Fee: SGD$8

Registration Closing Date: 14 Nov 2004

Running Route, start from Kovan Hub run along old Tampines Road toward Lorong Halus. Make a U-Turn before TPE and head back to Kovan Hub.

1st 50 registered runners will get to try Mizuno Test-Run shoes during the race.

Read the newspaper or head down to World Of Sports for more details.

Let me know if anyone interested to take part in the run. We can chiong the nasi lemak or tao hu after the race together.... Mr. Green

Just completed the Run. Cool

It was the first ever Mizuno Run in Singapore and it shows at their amatuer approach to some of the aspect in organising such an event.

It was fun with a few chio bu bring the group for aerobic warm up. Wink The run starts late(bad) Sad , the traffic police not doing justice by stop me a couple of times from dashing across the roads at the traffic lights. Sad Runners have a scolding match with the TP Shocked (rarely seem).... Water point not well manned. Sad

Timing wasn't excellent, but do get to see quite a number of familiar runners around. Very Happy Most serious runners skipped this in preparation for the up coming Marathon in 2 weeks time.

Nevertheless a good workout with roughly (1K) runners. At least not much walkers blocking the route of advance, except for the traffic police. Mad

At least the tau hua taste excellent after the run. Razz

When i was there i think on 2-3 Jan, there are still a lot more cert not collected yet.

Wah lucky saw the post some where here and went to collect on 10th Jan. Did not receive any info from them and just wait and wait....

Yes I ran in that race and many others as well. But I am only a completer not a competer. Just aim to finish. It was a good warm up for the marathon...

Glad that you have pick up the Certificate.

Most folks that runs is a run against yourself and complete the race. Me slow runner and the aim is to complete with dignity. Smile

I manage to go the full shitty 42.195. Not mush run in the begining of the year so going for....

NUS Biathlon in FEB
TAS Duathlon and Navy Biathlon in mar.... that is if i can get off my ass and start training.......

Wah liao go till KL to run ah???? better u run there in the first place as warm up..... Wink Cheers....

Heard of the NUS thingy. heard u need to swim on the surfboard rt? I believe in March there is biathlon as well. I have 2 colleagues that are taking part. Then there is this run-bike-run in a near future as well.

Singapore marathon only once per year. Sad The next full marathon is in KL, so have to go. Wink Triathlon and Irconman not my cup of tea yet. Who knows in the future? Rolling Eyes
