Hmm maybe if you both go grocery shopping and she offers to carry
some of the bags with you,
it's a different matter - but carry your bag for you? OMG!
As for thanks, plz do bear in mind that when you offer to do so,
it's an act of gallantry; not a favor or in response to a help
request, thus no thanks are in order.
Sigh, no wonder the reputation of gents has been going downhill of
