MooKu SG Joo Chiat Road has mighty big potential to become like Geylang. A salon trying to look stylo has opened, and so has a 'fashion boutique'! 7-eleven has stepped into the area as well... Looks like it's gonna be another gathering area for those sex-deprived cheekopeks and yucky middle-aged women... Damn. And did I forget to mention... there are 3 Hotel 81s plus two other 'budget hotels' in the area.... The horror of horrors! Lemme out of here!!!

MooKu SG Joo Chiat Road has KTV lounges dating from ages ago... With the introduction of 'budget hotels' a few years ago, initially the government had plans to turn it into a tourist attraction since Joo Chiat has rich cultural roots. But then somehow more KTV lounges were built... and then it became a mini-Geylang. G-String close down liao... what a stewpig name.
MooKu SG Chicken rice and seafood? Anyway, my sis once got mistaken for one of those hostesses before Late into the night, still can hear those cheekopeks singing in the KTV lounge... as though the effort of culling chickens isn't enough The whole place is so sleazy now.. everytime I walk along Joo Chiat Road, I try to walk as quickly as I can.

True_Xerion SG There used to be a small cybercafe there, was my fave gaming haunt, then every night when the indian pub closes for the day there'd be fights and arguments for sure, free entertainment for all!
