But......I more concern about my printer
, i suspect my sick HDD is causing damage to my PC's LPT port , can
that be ?
the answer is no ..... the HDD and the LPT port are
separate. if your LPT port is malfunctioning, it's not caused by
the HDD
'Cos whenever i wanted to print something
, my printer as if they don't recognise my command , they did print
, but just a few numbers on the top right hand corner , WHICH IS
NOT RELEVANT OF WHAT I INTEND TO PRINT !!
two possibilities:
1. corrupt printer driver ==> reinstall the printer driver
2. you turned off your printer when the printer was in the middle
of printing something. the next time you turn it on ..... rubbish
will print out ==> delete any pending print jobs that are
waiting in queue (Start Menu > Printers > 'printer_name') and
then, turn off your printer to reset it (you may need to turn your
printer off and on a few times)
Furthermore , when i on my PC , I hear
some sound inside , I never hear before , sounds like the
roller went rusty , needs some lubricant type of sound !
Grrrrr...Grrrr....Grrrr.....
the sounds could be coming from a fan, but it's more likely
to be your HDD making those sounds. change your HDD ASAP, unless
you wanna risk losing all of your data
