Honestly; what performance upgrades can they do to justify the "racing" edition labels? bodykit and 'sports' pedals

They frankly look terrible, both the Altis and Vios. The wheels are too small for a start. Even supermarket trolleys look better.

Read thread title: Altis/Vios Racing Edition. =) And also point out where I said that the car in the pic IS an altis? I said Epic Fail = when a crap car like the Altis is fitted with cheap looking crap and you buy it. The picture is another example of when a Vios is fitted with cheap looking crap and you buy it. This thread, notice, is for both the Altis and Vios. So I guess the idiot is you for failing to realise 1) that the thread is for both models 2) The caption of demotivational posters don't always refer to the pictures specifically.

If it ain't a performance car, please don't bother. If you went out in public dressed like an idiot, people are going to think you're one. If you dress your car up like an idiot, why shouldn't people be allowed to say you're one?

I personally don't think small metal rims look bad. At least they don't look pretentious like those ones. It's like a very fat man decked out in the latest football outfit. Nobody is going to think he's a footballer. Sports rims with a 155/70 R13 tyre is not going to fool anybody into thinking theres any sort of sporting credentials, or indeed, even any sort of aesthetic appeal to it.
