Sigh. Man U is always such a failure in the transfer mkt. just
look at recent outbursts from opposing managers like the fulham
manager and the PSV manager. Moreover Utd always seems to pay
astronomical prices, eg rio, veron, even c ronaldo and
kleberson.
another pt, i really do hope to see more of forlan in action. Is
saha better than him? All saha has is pace and bellion can provide
that. as for robben he sounds like an exciting prospect but i got
the feeling that if Utd ever sign him it will also be at an
inflated price.
Good deals on the transfer mkt are hard to comde by nowadays,
especially when the buyer is Sir Alex, so i feel that Utd shld
concentrate more on grooming the likes of fletcher and o shea and
looking out for reasonably-priced signings like djemba-djemba, ole,
ronny johnsen, tim howard etc etc.
the only effective way to bolster the squad for the later half of
the season is to bring in established names like viduka, saviola,
aimar, kluivert etc and not saha.
