I have stayed in a couple of local hotels with girlfrends.... Here is how I rate them. I didn't consider the price of the room, jus the overall service and facilities:

Shangri-la
Westin Stamford (now Swisotel something)
Pan Pacific
Marina Maindarin
Merchant Court
Marriott (spelling)
Robertson Quay Hotel (near boat quay)

i have worked in The Ritz Carlton b4 and they service is excellent..
dats all i have to say about htis place as its currently the only hotel which is rated 6 star.

Have you tried Orential Hotel? The suite it offers which holds the view to Esplanade is SPLENDID TOO....? Wink
