This will be Gerard Houllier's last season in charge,

If Liverpool does not qualify for Champions League next season or win a trophy this season.

I don't think Liverpool will axe Houllier midway through the season,unless they go on another terrible run of winless games like last season.Even then,we'll probably only see the resignation rather than the sack.
Then,Thommo will take over for the rest of the seaon before they try to secure Martin O Nell or any other manager. Any one fancy Ian Rush? Neutral
