Many friends of mine have told me that goal 2010 will just be
another dreams. Though Singapore have talented players like Indra
Sadan and Edgmar Gonvales,how can they match the likes of Japan's
Nakata or Innamoto, Koreans Ahn Jung Hwan, China's Li Tie
etc.Rather I should say goal 2010 belongs to Thailand. I really
like watching players like Kiatisuk Zico Senamung.
I have seen many of my friends or outsiders playing soccer and a
few of them have better skills than the Singapore players playing
in the S league. Such talelented players did not join the S-league
as they feel there will not be a future playing in the S
league.
If the situation is in England, I think parents will start asking
their chilren to train hard as they have better prospect playing
soccer.
I don't understand why bowling in Singapore, swimming in Singapore
or tennis have done so well to make our country proud but
Singapore's soccer has not been up to the required standard.
