Geez fellas... Most ladies wear it because they have more of a
VPL concern than us guys. VPL is Visible Panty Line for y'all who
didn't know. It's known for some (or many) women to be less
confident if they had VPL thanks to normal knickers than the one
formed by a thong or g-string, which is visibly less.
With regards to hygiene, there hasn't really been much studies on
it because there haven't been many reported cases. However, there
may have been cases with regards to thoong abrasion (ouch to the
max, mate...).
