The death of JC cleansed your sin. That's what's important. Not
the picture of Him suffering on the cross.
I believe that if you are a christian, the holy spirit within you
would constantly remind you of how blessed you are, and not a
picture of Jesus being crucified.
You are taking this too seriously, and there are already a couple
of negative responses to your statement that without his death, we
would burn in hell etc etc. I think many non-believers would take
offence to that, just as you took offence to the first
post.
