Smoking bad for ur health?!?!!? Cmon guys, give me a break!!! Look at Deng Xiaoping, the old man smokes more in a day then me in a week!!!( and i m a VERY heavy smoker ) and he bloody live to a ripe old age of 90++...wau lau, best advertisement for cigarette companies.
It's all a big conspiracy from the Greens, anti-smokers and the church that we smokers are assaulted on all fronts!!! As a smoker born and bred, i have got a msg to them, F&*% off ass&*##, if u don't like my smoke, get the hell away from me. I don;t like ur breath too, doesn't mean that u have to sit outside the restaurant far away from me!!!
I derived extreme pleasure out of smoking and darn if i m going to let some inconsiderate ppl and government stop me from doing so. Hell, i prob. paid the highest income tax in this country due to my hobby of puffing.
So, get off my back u non smokers and be darned if i don't outlive all of u guys with *snigger* white lungs out there. Smile

i ain't no smoker by the way. just a passive one....forced to........stupid security gaurd downstairs.......(dun ask where i live...not condo) keep smoking. think he smokes at least a pack a day. hey, this is my home kz. can't ask me to get lost right? he doesn't belong here. just working here, so if he wants to smoke, he can jolly well find some place else to smoke, and not pollute our clean lungs along with his! y live so long on earth? well, i for one would like to live my whole life as it is. dun wish t die f ung cancer. what's the prbem with iving nger anyway. since like what Mr Hata-san says, smokers have their rights, we non-smokers too have our rights.

all right all right. don't flame me. 0utside, if we don't like the smoke and sight of the cig, we can go some place else, and leave them alone. agreed. but just think others and ur own health when u smoke.....

Just one question:
WHAT'S SO GREAT ABOUT SMOKING ANYWAY?

given all the health consequences, restrictions social stigma and cost, the choice to pick up smoking is more or less a statement, political/personal or just peer influence.

Those friends of mine who have picked up smoking seem to be doing it to fit into certain groups and their 'image', which i personally feel is quite sad. i could be wrong, but thats how it seems to me.
those friends of mine probably think they are quite cool and enjoying it.

Also, contracting cancer is an extremely distressing and painful process, not only for urself, but also for ur family and friends (personal experience). There are more merciful ways to die, hence i dun see the need to increase the chance of cancer.
