Why the male say that?

Everytime messaging. but when female messaging this, ‘Give me a kiss then I will tell you’. The male will say, ‘I am married you know…’. Female carry on, ‘I am just joking’. I somehow come across this from a friend handphone and I wondered why the male message that. He kindly reject the female or he does like the female. Anyone knows why the male said that?
