My (now deceased) dad had a collection of vintage banknotes. I'm
not into collecting and thought about spending the SG notes but my
wife advised I should look into selling them. What's a realistic
offer we should expect for our $1k note?

Currently, Monetarium Auctions estimated its value at S$1,200 to
S$1,500 (same grade 64) in their 25 Oct auction as below:

But the serial no. of yours is quite low and its first prefix,
so should fetch slightly higher. Remember, 00000X is not as
valuable as golden nos like XXXXXX.
