Best HALAL Chinese Restaurant?

Hi all,

Small gathering (maybe 10-ish) with a Muslim friend and simply no clue on where to go for a good halal chinese dinner.

Appreciate any suggestions. Need air-condition but not too pricey (ie, will rule out hotel).

Google suggested Kampong Chai Chee and Mackenzie Rex but I have never been to both of these restaurants, will also appreciate if anyone can give me some feedback?

It's likely the halal selection in JB will be better.

If you want to have one-dish meals, you could do OldTown White Coffee - it's halal. But if you want to 点菜 you need a proper restaurant.
