.....haha, not exactly taste like butter, got to depend on the stage of ripening you eat. Eat it best when feel gentle on pressure. Don't wait until too soft, then you got the taste between egg yolk and butter.

hehe....dunno if the same variety, but i try a hrad avocado b4 and wah lao....taste is not nice, got the powdery bitter taste - really taste like typical unripe fruit.

Dunno if suppose to eat when like this?

NTUC never stop selling rock hard avocados . Mind you, not cheap!

Same, I have tasted the hard ones, yucky! Avacado taste good when it is ripe. NTUC is not doing any fair to consumers by selling the unripe ones, and with such high price.

Not suppose to be hard. A filipino friend brought lots of avacado from philippines, cannot find any hard avacado. It is not suppose to be hard. Cheap in filippin, expensive in Singaproe.

Slice the ripe flesh thinly, mix it with seafood like prawns, crayfish or crab, put between two slices of bread and enjoy.

Some restaurants also serve ais avocado (a dessert with gula melaka, coffee, ice and the fruit), and Scoopz has avocado ice-cream.
