Description:
Fans of action packed comedies and Korean productions must not
miss JUMP 2011! This renowned Korean Comic Martial Arts Performance
aims to enamour and captivate you with stunning acrobatics and
slapstick humour this August.
Enjoying a sold-out run in 2009 and coming back to Singapore for
the third time, JUMP is a non-verbal, 90-minute hyperactive sitcom.
JUMP superbly blends different martial art forms together including
Taekwondo and traditional Korean martial arts. Be awed by
jaw-dropping flips, punches and kicks and brilliant slapstick
humour. No second takes, no wires and no special effects for these
actors who have gone through years of martial arts training. Some
critics have ingeniously dubbed JUMP as “Jackie Chan meets Charlie
Chaplin”. Hilarious, entertaining and lively, each move will keep
you spellbound, entertained and riveted to the edge of your
seat.
JUMP 2011 tells the story of a Korean family well-versed in martial
arts, with a crotchety grandfather who enjoys nothing more than
challenging the rest of the family to martial arts showdowns. The
family members use their expertise to repel two burglars who break
into their house, to hilarious effect -- showing off their
extensive training in martial arts, acrobatic and gymnastic moves,
as well as comic acting all at the same time.
