I really cant stand swenson's. Their food quality and ice cream
quality really doesnt warrent the price you pay. Fork out a bit
more cash and get a world of a difference with other ice cream
outlets.
If we're talking about Ice cream cafe's as in a "nice place
where you can chill out and eat something cold with friends" then i
would suggest Ben and Jerries, Hagen Daz, NYDC (go for their
mudpies) or Island Creamery. At the end of the day when
eating ice cream ambience is everything. Because after a while your
tongue just freezes over and all that matters after the 6th
spoonful, is the people you're with and location location location
=)
That being said, Mcdonalds and The "Uncle" pushcarts that sell
$1 slabs of ice cream get my patronage when i'm on the move and
need a quick "cheer me up"
