tray-clearing habits

You know in McDonalds, when people finished eating their foods then got the leftover drink cups, trays etc, we just leave it there on the table and walk off.

Anyone will take the trays and stuffs, pour it into the bin then put back the tray themselves?

Cause I heard from my friend long ago, when she went to other country, Idk which country she went to but I know it's eurasian country, she say when she went to the McDonalds theere, the people there, after eating all of them will throw their leftover rubbish into the bin and put the trays back themselves...

I used to eat finish and left it on the table also, but nowadays after eating at McDonalds and when leaving the table, I felt like abit, idk dont know how to describe, maybe lazy or something, maybe not. Like feel like putting the trays back myself also, then when I leave it on the table, I feel that like inconsiderate or what, like princess-like or something, wating for people to clean up. That's after my friend told the story then I sometimes felt this way.....lol.

Any views on this? Or any other behaviours in Mac that you see...

Now all the fast food restaurants have increased their price and decrease the size of their food.

So, it is more expensive than a proper western food in a kopi tiam.

For me, I dun eat it any more after they increase the price for no reason.

inflation bro, inflation. if u go to supermarkets, you will find some foods/drinks increase. what spark the increase of prices? increase of oil, commodities, supplier prices etc etc. its a vicious cycle. but how come our salary dun increase one, sad...

For what ? Why must we clear the plates ourselfs ? Its their duty and job to clear it. I will only help out if i see the aunty is old.

SOmehow i feel the burgers getting smaller and the fries also lesser and skinnier. Maybe when it first started i was still a boy now grow up eat more.

I agree. Saturated fat and salt and msgs are killers of outside food. But if mac can control such levels i belive its still okay to consume, as long as you don't rely it on every meal, also let the kids control to avoid addiction. hygiene aside potato bread and meat is good for you. once in a while or a week should be fine.

if we really do that, as in disposing of the rubbish ourselves, one can be sure that many McD aunties would be out of job. McD can afford to hire these aunties because their profit margin is high....i mean one can say etiquette but if we really do that, these aunties will have to go elsewhere.

Anyway, prices these days are ridiculous, $7 for a meal. That can give give me 3 plates of chicken rice lol

why should we clear it ourselves? if we do they will find the cleaners redundant. more people will lose their jobs.

Mostly, i just see ppl eat finish and then just leave leaving the cleaners to clear the table for them.

They can't say its morally wrong if we didn't clear the trays. They have the service of cleaners to do that, it's also not a must for us to clear the trays. If some people thinks they are having great compassion doing it, they might as well help to wash the trays & wipe the table loh. Sun bian sweep the floor since the crumbs also around ma.

I dispose of my leftover food into the bin and place the tray on top of the rubbish bin.
